Vapid Soul | The Annex
Vapid Soul played like a band unraveling in real time — dark, deliberate, and steeped in emotion. Their set moved with a slow burn intensity, each track unfolding like a memory you’re not ready to face. Vocals carried a worn sincerity, bleeding through the distortion with just enough vulnerability to feel real.
There was a weight to everything they did — not just in sound, but in presence. Guitars echoed with a haunting tone, bass lines pulling everything into deeper territory. It wasn’t loud for the sake of it — it was loud because it hurt.
Photographing them was like tracing outlines in the dark — not everything was visible, but everything was felt.
